Remember

Haven’t seen you for a long time, how have you been? I just want you to know that I’m doing fine and I miss you a lot.  Wishing you all the best before we part ways. Holding on to your scent, your sorrow and all the memories we have had together.  I’m distancing myself from everything purposefully as if I’m flying away. Living in this ever-changing world, I can only hold on to my memories in art frames.  Waiting for the waves to settle down, for the sun to come out. Hoping to regain some peace Wingyu loves to paint since she was young. She was a graphic designer before she becomes a full time mum of four beautiful children. Her second daughter was born with cerebral palsy and blindness. The pressure of looking after a sick child is immeasurable but nothing can pull a strong and loving family apart.  After being a home maker for twelve years, Wingyu decided to rejoin her passion for painting and started Wingyu Yeung Art in 2020. Each of her artwork is unique and attention to detail, hoping to create a memorable piece to those who receive.  At the end of 2020, her second daughter passed on.  Wingyu was overwhelmed with sadness and despair, painting was her way to self healing.  She is still in the healing process.  She is still a mother of four children.  She was born and raised in Kam Tim, Yeung Long. Her mini solo exhibition " Remember " is her way of saying goodbye to this beloved area. Wing Ngai
